With it, she transforms a familiar label – once shorthand for mass production – into a proud statement of creativity and self-expression.\n\r\nThe vivid red of the ensemble recalls the Chinese national flag, whose red background symbolises the Chinese Communist Revolution and the unity of the nation. Red, deeply rooted in Chinese culture, also signifies joy, luck and vitality, appearing widely in festivals and celebrations.\n\r\nCompleting the look, the oversized gloves pay tribute to the garment workers whose skill and dedication powered China’s industrial rise following the country’s reform and opening to global trade in the 1980s.
