Both the North and South forces of the Korean War created and distributed propaganda leaflets that were stuffed inside artillery shells and dropped by air on enemy grounds.   \r\n\r\nThe Southern propaganda played on the negative effects of Communism, like the loss of lives, and called on Chinese soldiers to think of their suffering and defect. The United States Psychological Operations, known as PSYOP, were particularly prolific in producing propaganda in print and over the radio to convey anti-Communist messages.
