Together with the\r\nfinished drawing shown here, and the actual stool, they\r\nshow the complete span of the design proces. The tiny\r\nstamp of the dancing figure, a \"memory\" abstracted from a \r\nphotograph of a famous classical statue in Naples, also\r\nforms part of the decoration of the stool and has come to\r\nsymbolize it and the whole range of Nick Allen's neo-\r\nclassical furniture, as well as becoming his registered studio\r\nmark.
