They felt compelled to document each one, noting the date and place they were found. Along with fragments of poetic text – which convey a sense of disorientation, of time being out of joint – Haddad and Hachem printed the images of spectacles on delicate glass panels, akin to the windows that shattered across the city. The twisted, fractured eyeglasses (humble items, essential but vulnerable) capture the devastating human impact of the blast, and the blind negligence of those in power in Lebanon.","physicalDescription":"Framed photographic print on 2mm glass, within a wooden frame","artistMakerPerson":[{"name":{"text":"Pascal Hachem","id":"AUTH409964"},"association":{"text":"","id":""},"note":""},{"name":{"text":"Rana Haddad","id":"AUTH410093"},"association":{"text":"","id":""},"note":""}],"artistMakerOrganisations":[{"name":{"text":"200 Grs.","id":"AUTH351281"},"association":{"text":"","id":""},"note":""}],"artistMakerPeople":[],"materials":[{"text":"Glass","id":"AAT10797"}],"techniques":[{"text":"Photographic print","id":"x34845"}],"materialsAndTechniques":"Photographic print on glass","categories":[{"text":"Photographs","id":"THES48910"}],"styles":[],"collectionCode":{"text":"MES","id":"THES48607"},"images":["2023NH8710","2025PJ0294"],"imageResolution":"low","galleryLocations":[{"current":{"text":"005","id":"THES394894"},"free":"","case":"","shelf":"","box":""}],"partTypes":[[{"text":"Debris of Text and Eyeglasses, by 200grs, 2021","id":""}]],"contentWarnings":[{"apprise":"","note":""}],"placesOfOrigin":[{"place":{"text":"Beirut","id":"x41160"},"association":{"text":"made","id":"x28654"},"note":""}],"productionDates":[{"date":{"text":"2021","earliest":"2021-01-01","latest":"2021-12-31"},"association":{"text":"made","id":"x28654"},"note":""}],"associatedObjects":[],"creditLine":"200grs","dimensions":[{"dimension":"Length","value":"40","unit":"cm","qualifier":"","date":{"text":"","earliest":null,"latest":null},"part":"","note":""},{"dimension":"Width","value":"20","unit":"cm","qualifier":"","date":{"text":"","earliest":null,"latest":null},"part":"","note":""},{"dimension":"Depth","value":"2.5","unit":"cm","qualifier":"","date":{"text":"","earliest":null,"latest":null},"part":"","note":""}],"dimensionsNote":"","marksAndInscriptions":[],"objectHistory":"","historicalContext":"","briefDescription":"'Debris of Text and Eyeglasses', one of a series of ten framed photographic prints on glass, by 200grs, 2021","bibliographicReferences":[],"production":"","productionType":{"text":"","id":""},"contentDescription":"","contentPlaces":[],"associatedPlaces":[],"contentPerson":[],"associatedPerson":[],"contentOrganisations":[],"associatedOrganisations":[],"contentPeople":[],"associatedPeople":[],"contentEvents":[],"associatedEvents":[],"contentOthers":[],"contentConcepts":[],"contentLiteraryRefs":[],"galleryLabels":[],"partNumbers":["ME.91-2022"],"accessionNumberNum":"91","accessionNumberPrefix":"ME","accessionYear":2022,"otherNumbers":[],"copyNumber":"","aspects":["WHOLE"],"assets":[],"recordModificationDate":"2025-10-20","recordCreationDate":"2022-09-08","availableToBook":true}}
