The head of the daybed is formed of a round-arched panel in a frame of scrollwork and cherubs, fixed to sloping spiral uprights which are each surmounted by a head. The cane-work seat has a carved frame of six scroll supports joined in the front by two deep openwork rails carved with scrollwork and cherubs, and at the back by two solid rails carved with arches.
