Text introduced by historiated initial P enclosing a cross rising from a mound. Cartouche in the outer margin with Christ as Man of Sorrows. Cartouche in the lower margin with head of a bearded man with hat, supported by two grotesques with shields and clubs. Rubrics in gold.\r\nf. 157r: beginning of the great Office of the Cross framed by a full border of white-vine scrolls with chubby putti, a doe and hare, birds and a butterfly. Text introduced by historiated initial D enclosing Christ as Man of Sorrows standing in the tomb, displaying his wounds, half-length.
