This <i>kaba</i> ensemble was made for her to wear to the memorial service commemorating the 15th anniversary of her son Stephen Lawrence's murder. <i>Kente</i>, weather woven or printed as shown here, has become a symbol of Black pride across Africa and its diaspora.
