Against Classification or: My Mother Sees a Salad in Every Field is a woodcut printed on Velin Arches paper using organic dyes made from locally sourced plants such as dandelions, dock and yarrow. \nThe prints have been hand-pressed by the artist, making each one a unique variation. Leshem's work traces the histories of dye plants as a way of addressing notions of migration, nationality and appropriation in its material form.
