The two main characters are the god Shiva and his wife Parvati.  Shiva stands to the left of the scene, his hair adorned with snakes and hands outstretched before him.  Parvati is seated in front of him on a table.  A third person stands to the right.  \r\nThe perspective of the scene has been slanted to give the appearance of looking into a room in a house or residence.  The two curtain edges at the top left and right slant diagonally and the table that Parvati is seated on is shown from the top.  Red and yellow paint has been used to hand colour the print.
