One of the Bacchantes on the left, stands in a graceful attitude with her right arm raised above her head and holding one end of a chain of flowers, and her right leg stretched behind her; she is clad in draperies purple and of white painted with flowers. The other on the right, is kneeling on her left knee with her left arm raised; she is clad like the other. They are binding with chains of flowers a terminal figure of Pan standing on a pedestal with a tree behind it.
