She remained with the company until 1954 before moving into popular theatre, television and film. Her London stage credits included <i>Pay the Piper</i> (1954-55), <i>The Balcony</i> (1957), <i>Honeymoon</i> (1957), the musical <i>The Boys from Syracuse</i> (1963), and the South African folk revue <i>Wait a Minim!</i> (1964-66) which transferred to Broadway (1966-67).
