This propelled her to international stardom and she toured extensively in Europe, including appearing in <i>Pas de Quatre</i> in London in 1845. She retired from the stage in 1856 when she married Friedrich Young and served as ballet mistress in Leipzig. 1858-. and at the Court Theatre, Munich, 1869-75.
