She became the Empire's resident ballerina and appeared there until 1913. Kyasht established several companies, showcasing her own dancing at the London Coliseum during the 1914-18 war and, later, the talent of young British dancers.\n\r\nIt is not known when, and for which role, the costume shown was created but Kyasht wore it to a photoshoot by Bassano in 1911, and images of her wearing this dress were used as publicity when she joined Serge Diaghilev's Ballets Russes in 1912.
