Hemispherical handleless tea-bowl with vertical ribbing, standing on a low foot ring. Plain saucer with feint ribbing radiating from the plain central section. Both tea-bowl and saucer have a border consisting of a shell-motif painted in purple between yellow scrolls, alternating with a single rose and leaves, with pendant leaves and flowers suspended by lines of blue dots between them.
