Straight-sided teapot, roughly lozenge-shaped in plan, with four vertical lobes. Plain strap handle, with central moulded rib. S-shaped spout of roughly octagonal section at its base. The lid, which fits into a vertical collar on the teapot, has a baluster-shaped knob with a central hole for steam. Round the shoulder is painted a running trail of fanciful 'flowers' and feathery leaves in purple and iron-red, and this border is repeated on the cover. The sides of the teapot are decorated with small sprays and sprigs in the same colours.","artistMakerPerson":[],"artistMakerOrganisations":[{"name":{"text":"A. & E.
