In 2004 it was suggested that these pieces were Miles Mason and that this was their pattern no. 208 (Haggar & Adams remark that the New Hall pattern was used by Mason as pattern 208), however, this design and pattern no. 208 (painted in blue) are given by Michael Berthoud and Philip Miller as Machin factory c. 1810.
