The dress was inspired by Botticelli's <i>Primavera</i> and designed with the outdoor Cotswolds setting in mind. The sleeveless lace dress is fastened with silk covered buttons down the centre back and embroidered with polychrome flowers in the signature colourful palette for which Williamson is known. These flowers were selected by the bride, rendered by embroiderer Victoria Sanders and then worked in a specialist embroidery workshop in India. There are also several appliquéd lily-of-the-valley motifs which were taken from the bride's mother's wedding dress.","physicalDescription":"Sleeveless silk wedding dress with deep v-back, covered silk button fastenings down the centre back and a large puddle train. Inspired by Botticelli’s Primavera, Rosanna Falconer worked closely with the designer to choose the selection of garden flowers to be embroidered on the train of the dress. These were then interpreted and rendered by embroiderer Victoria Sanders and completed in India by a studio with whom Williamson regularly worked . There are also several appliquéd lily-of-the-valley motifs taken from the bride’s mother’s wedding dress.
