The theatre owner had been let down three times and on this occasion decided to publicise the fact.\r\n\r\nAlthough Mr Berry may not have been very reliable, the Theatre Royal, Edinburgh, was quite a success during this period. Between 1809 and 1815, the theatre was managed by the actors Henry and Harriet Siddons.
