Inside the lid of this box is a miniature of two musicians in the style of Antoine Watteau (1684-1721).\r\n\r\nSir Arthur Gilbert and his wife Rosalinde formed one of the world's great decorative art collections, including silver, mosaics, enamelled portrait miniatures and gold boxes.
