In February 1915 they danced <i>The Khan’s Vision</i>, an ‘Oriental Ballet Picture’ with music by Tchaikovsky and Drigo, at the London Coliseum. Legat performed as the Young Khan with Mlle Nicolayeva as The Beautiful Vision. The <i>Stage</i>, 11 February 1915, p.14, discussed the miniature ballet:‘There is so little of what English audiences understand as dancing in the piece that one has poor opportunity to judge of the capacity of these artists, and if they are well-advised, they will drop the ballet in favour of a series of dances, for they are obviously clever people.’\r\n\r\nLegat and Nicolayeva danced elsewhere in Britain and at The Palace Theatre, London, before returning to Russia, finally leaving in 1922. Between 1925 and 1926 Legat was ballet master for the Ballets Russes.
