Behind the trees a lake fills the rest of the background. Stylised rocks at the roots of the trees and clouds into which their tops vanish. A water plant is growing on the left of the willow.\r\n\r\nThe colour scheme is mainly restricted to shades of blue and green from celadon to deep blue with the trunks of the trees in a light pale brown. Some of the more important parts of the design such as the trunk of the willow are outlined in black.","artistMakerPerson":[{"name":{"text":"Unknown","id":"A1848"},"association":{"text":"","id":""},"note":""}],"artistMakerOrganisations":[],"artistMakerPeople":[],"materials":[{"text":"silk (textile)","id":"AAT243428"}],"techniques":[],"materialsAndTechniques":"Silk tapestry (<i>kesi</i>)","categories":[{"text":"Textiles","id":"THES48885"},{"text":"Household objects","id":"THES48939"}],"styles":[{"text":"Republican (Republic of China 1912-1949)","id":"x43912"}],"collectionCode":{"text":"EAS","id":"THES48596"},"images":["2006AX7181","2006BD2320","2006AX7179","2012FP8688","2012FP8690","2012FP8691","2019ME7169"],"imageResolution":"high","galleryLocations":[{"current":{"text":"001","id":"THES313043"},"free":"","case":"","shelf":"","box":""}],"partTypes":[[{"text":"PANEL","id":""}]],"contentWarnings":[{"apprise":"","note":""}],"placesOfOrigin":[{"place":{"text":"China","id":"x29398"},"association":{"text":"made","id":"x28654"},"note":""}],"productionDates":[{"date":{"text":"1920-1945","earliest":"1920-01-01","latest":"1945-12-31"},"association":{"text":"made","id":"x28654"},"note":""}],"associatedObjects":[],"creditLine":"","dimensions":[{"dimension":"Height","value":"260.35","unit":"cm","qualifier":"","date":{"text":"","earliest":null,"latest":null},"part":"","note":""},{"dimension":"Width","value":"55.88","unit":"cm","qualifier":"","date":{"text":"","earliest":null,"latest":null},"part":"","note":""},{"dimension":"Height","value":"102.5","unit":"in","qualifier":"","date":{"text":"","earliest":null,"latest":null},"part":"","note":""},{"dimension":"Width","value":"22","unit":"in","qualifier":"","date":{"text":"","earliest":null,"latest":null},"part":"","note":""}],"dimensionsNote":"Registered description.
