Throughout the year many events were rescheduled, often multiple times, were postponed or cancelled.\r\n\r\nIn October 2020 British punk band, The Damned, held a press conference at the Round House in North London and, in compliance with the current social distance guidelines, announced that the band would reunite in its original line-up and play four gigs - at venues in London, Birmingham, Glasgow and Manchester - in July 2021. Billed as the first socially distanced press conference, and featuring face masks for all attendees, it received significant press coverage.
