In this ring the glowing colours and visual complexity are enriched by the addition of discs cut from orange and red bicycle reflectors.\r\n\r\nPeter Chang (1944-2017) trained as a sculptor at Liverpool School of Art and the Slade School, London. He began making jewellery in the early 1970s, and in 1995 was joint winner of the first Jerwood Applied Arts Prize for Jewellery.","physicalDescription":"The ring is a vivid combination of black, orange and red, set with glowing and contrastingly-patterned panels cut from bicycle safety reflectors. The tall bezel spreads asymetrically - on one side a curved triangular panel tapers as it reaches around the finger, on the other is a more compact wedge of bronze striped with red.
