In the same period, Corke pursued his own photographic interests, notably botanical studies. He became a member of the Royal Photographic Society in 1905 and was made a fellow in 1908. Through his work with autochromes, Corke gained particular renown. He regularly lectured, exhibited and published his photographs, which primarily featured subjects drawn from nature.
