At Antwerp the royal party embarked in the Royal Yacht Victoria and Albert, and reached Gravesend on 7 March. The Corporation of the City of London had arranged for a public entry into the City from Bricklayer's Arms Station, through the City to Chancery Lane and thence to Paddington Station, where the royal couple left for Windsor. To commemorate this event the Corporation of the City of London commissioned Messrs Wyon to produce a medal, 350 specimens were struck. This piece is one of the series published by the Corporation of the City of London.\n\nWyon is the name of a talented  family of Designers, Die-engravers and medallists whose period of activity extended from before the middle of the 18th century to almost the end of the 19th century.","physicalDescription":"","artistMakerPerson":[{"name":{"text":"Wyon, J.
