Vase: Chang Ware</b>\r\nDesigned by Charles John Noke (British, 1858-1941) and Harry Nixon (British, 1886-unknown)\r\nMade by Doulton & Co., Burslem, Great Britain, about 1930\r\nStoneware with high temperature glaze\r\nC.112-1981\r\n\r\nChang Ware, named after the posssibly mythical Song potter, Chang the Elder, was introduced in 1925 by Doulton in response to popular demand for eastern style ceramics.
