Craig was one of Louise’s last students before her death, and he was also one who she loved and believed in the most. Craig was invited by Lulu Kennedy to take part in the Fashion East Installations, which she held in a building on Carlton Gardens near the ICA. There was a set made of straw, and pieces modelled by Stefan Cooke, who has since gone on to become a designer in his own right. I love the beauty of their simplicity, and yet their confidence of cut and line. There is a clear design signature that can still be found in Craig’s clothes today. I am so happy they are now with the V&A – they are super important garments in the recent history of London menswear\" </i>- Charlie Porter, October 2019","historicalContext":"","briefDescription":"Top, cotton calico with painted strip, Craig Green, first presentation 2013, London","bibliographicReferences":[],"production":"","productionType":{"text":"","id":""},"contentDescription":"","contentPlaces":[],"associatedPlaces":[],"contentPerson":[],"associatedPerson":[],"contentOrganisations":[],"associatedOrganisations":[],"contentPeople":[],"associatedPeople":[],"contentEvents":[],"associatedEvents":[],"contentOthers":[],"contentConcepts":[],"contentLiteraryRefs":[],"galleryLabels":[],"partNumbers":["T.31-2020"],"accessionNumberNum":"31","accessionNumberPrefix":"T","accessionYear":2020,"otherNumbers":[],"copyNumber":"","aspects":["WHOLE"],"assets":[],"recordModificationDate":"2025-04-09","recordCreationDate":"2019-10-18","availableToBook":true}}
