JACKET\r\nDesigned and made by Irie, Paris, France,\r\nAutumn/Winter 1992\r\nCotton (48%), rayon (48%) and spandex (4%)\r\nT.285-1992\r\nSpandex is a generic term used since 1960 to describe\r\nman-made fibres composed largely of segmented\r\npolyurethane. It was initially used for underwear and\r\nsports clothing but in recent years has been used for\r\nfashion also. It is not immediately apparent that this\r\ntailored jacket is stretchy, but its spandex component\r\nfacilitates a body-moulding fit.
