Samples could be experimental in construction and colour combinations, the aim being to sell the yarn ranges by exploiting the character of the yarn and the colours in the design, rather than to design fabrics which would be commercially successful. Moloney designed and made the samples in her Warwickshire studio.\r\n\r\nSome of the designs were taken up by companies - in this case Morton Sundour Fabrics Ltd..\r\n\r\nT.183:1 to 18-2019 and T.184:1 to 7-2019, produced by Richards (owned by Courtaulds), are some of the spools of yarn which were given to Moloney.
