In 1984, the design was licensed to Alessi who have produced it since in electroplated stainless steel.","physicalDescription":"The two vessels for oil and vinegar rest on a rectangular place with curved ends. The surface of this base plate is covered with a series of engraved, parallel lines. At the centre of the two, parallel edges, the rim breaks to rise in the form of a shallow arc. The bottles are secured within a frame which has a circular sleeve as a base; the low rim rising towards the front. This is connected to a sleeve at the top of the neck by a handle, T shaped in cross section and rising at an angle to the base. It curves sharply inwards at the top and then upwards to fit within a sleeve running the height of the collar and set at the back. The collar is a cylindrical sleeve with acute angled rims. A small rectangular slot is cut out of the front to allow the passage of liquid. The lid is a circular disc with a raised oval section in the centre and is hinged at the back with two parallel, circular counterweights attached by wire to the rear.
