Mary Quant was one of the most iconic fashion designer of the 1960s. Along with her  husband, Alexander Plunket-Greene and business partner Archie McNair, she opened her first boutique, Bazaar, on the King’s Road in 1955. She originally  stocked clothes from wholesalers but soon became frustrated with the options available and began designing her own clothes, which proved to be a great  success.. Quant started producing tights in 1965 and subsequently began designing hosiery and underwear. \r\n\r\nThis design for a bra and knicker set exists in multiple colourways, including red, blue and yellow. It is made from 100% nylon and designed to be stretchy  and comfortable. The design, flattering for a slender and athletic body, is typical of Quant’s sporty, youthful aesthetic.","physicalDescription":"Underwear set, bra and knickers, black.
