From 1989 to 1996 he was a lecturer at HDK and afterwards he worked as a professor for two years in the Jewellery Department.  His work includes jewellery as well as objects, principally a series of bowls in iron with gilded details and is represented in public and private collections in Sweden and throughout the world.  He has been the recipient of several awards, including the Swedish Arts Grants Committee and the Herbert Hofmann prize, Munich.\n\r\nThe artist's career has involved exploring variations of a simple geometric forms, sometimes over a long periods of time.  In his statement he says, \"The material I use is steel with different properties and qualities that suits the results I am looking for.  One of the most important parts of the final result is the surface.  I try to reach variations in surfaces by different techniques like etching, gilding and painting.
