They had met while studying textile design at  Glasgow School of Art and now have showrooms in both Glasgow and London. \n\r\nThe designers are inspired by historical textiles and techniques, and have a focus on pattern,  process and drawing.  They are known for experimentation, which is achieved through hands- on production processes in their studio.  For example, they mix different inks and varnishes,  and print on to a variety of materials such as stone and wood, as well as textiles and paper.
