Her wedding bouquet was of lilies which were sprayed gold to match the dress. \n\nConstance had worked in the gowns department of Pyne Brothers department store in Lewisham, selling and modelling gowns and wedding dresses. Here she met her future husband Samuel Robert Steward, who worked in the store’s haberdashery department.
