It concerns the story of a patient in a London mental hospital, who claims to be the son of an exiled African dictator. Touching on race, mental illness and modern British life, it won the Evening Standard Award for Best Play in 2000, and Critics' Circle and Laurence Olivier Awards for Best Play in 2001.\r\n\r\nFirst performed at the National Theatre in 2000, it transferred to the Duchess Theatre in 2001 with the same cast: Bill Nighy, Andrew Lincoln and Chiwetel Ejiofor. Joe Penhall also wrote the script for the 2005 BBC television adaptation of the play, but the original cast changed for this production.","physicalDescription":"Poster on gloss finish card, white background featuring a circular photograph of the three actors, Bill Nighy, Andrew Lincoln and Chiwetel Ejiofor, lying on a blue floor, around a circular glass table, with several oranges amongst them.
