Rayne made all of the shoes for Taylor on the pinewood set, with drawings, photographs and files existing in the family archives The costumes and set were abandoned with the costumes believed to have been sent to Bermans. When filming resumed on a new set in Italy new costumes based on Messel's  original designs were used.
