On each side a triangular shape crosses the front and back of the bodice, extending outwards to form a kimono sleeve.\r\n\r\nThe bodice is stitched into a cummerbund, which is stiffened and boned on the inside to pull tight across the diaphragm, and fastens with a warp-over back, secured with velcro under the left sleeve.\r\n\r\nThe very full skirt is sewn into this in deep folds and is stiffened with a lining of net.
