Using his rich, trademark blue the artist has created an atmospheric, nocturnal scene which serves to emphasize the ethereal, horse-drawn carriage highlighted in gold, which is speeding through the woods.\r\n\r\nPen, ink and watercolour\r\n\r\nBequeathed by H.
