She is standing in profile with her hands raised together in front of her, her wrists are touching and her hands are open. She is looking upwards to invocate the Sphinx. To the right is a male character, Apollodorus, wearing a lightly coloured shirt with buttons down the arm, and a gold headdress, he is sitting facing Cleopatra and looking up at her. The next character, Rufio, to the right is sitting wearing a long dark shirt and skirt. He has dark hair and a beard and is looking towards the character to the left next to him. The final character on the right is Cleopatra played by Cedric Hardwicke,  he is wearing a striped and floral patterned cloak in light and dark colours with a golden crown.
