On the steps, in the opening between the curtains is Ftatateeta played by Florence Marriott Watson. She is wearing a sleeveless dress with a darker swirling lined pattern. She has two golden bracelets on her upper arm and wrist, and a striped cloth in her thinly plaited hair. She is lying backwards with her head pointing down the steps, with her right arm across her chest and her left arm outstretched onto the floor. Standing next to her left hand, on the left side of the image is Cleopatra played by Gwen Ffrangcon-Davies. She is wearing a long sleeveless dark metalic dress with further fabric over her outstretched left arm. She has pearls on her right wrist that are also attached as a necklace, she also has a pearl bracelet over her upper arm. She is wearing a golden headdress and has tightly curled hair hanging down over her shoulders.
