From Act III, Scene 3, The SS Beachy Head. The print shows a large group scene with over 70 actors on the stage. The stage depicts the main mast of the ship with the superstructure and captain's quarters behind it. There are two life boats on each side of the ship. The main mast appears to be tilting and the ship appears to be sinking with water, made of fabric, rising above the characters.\r\n\r\nThe majority of the characters are soldiers and sailors on the deck, all are in uniform. There are also some women amongst the characters on the deck and superstructure. Some of the women are embracing the male characters, whilst some of the sailors are saluting. At the centre of the image, in front of the mast is Sir Dorian March.
