From Act III, Scene 3, The SS Beachy Head. The print shows a large group scene with over 70 actors on the stage. The stage depicts the main mast of the ship with the superstructure and captain's quarters behind it. There are two life boats on each side of the ship.\r\n\r\nThe majority of the characters are soldiers and sailors on the deck, all are in uniform. At the front of stage are rows of soldiers standing to attention, facing the front of stage and camera. There are sandbags in front of the soldiers' feet and their commanding officer is standing to the left in profile. Behind them are the navy characters looking on at the military display.
