The chest veneered with mahogany on oak, the ends formed by single planks of oak (10mm thick), with applied mouldings; the oak drawers all fitted with brass handles, and the two large drawers with locks; all four drawers with runners underneath, veneered with 6mm mahogany fronts; the bottom boards (poplar?) nailed up.
