During the ballet Tom Ellar and Mrs. Loveday performed: a 'Scotch Minuet and Lilt' and a Reel, and Ellar danced a Hornpipe, blindfolded, over a dozen eggs, wearing wooden clogs. The 'petite comedy' <i>Old and Young</i>, was performed by Messrs. Griffiths, Loveday and Laney, and Mesdames Griffiths and Thompson, after which Mr. Ellar imitated poses of classical sculptures on a podium in his: 'popular and classical performance' <i>The Venetian Statue. </i>The laughable farce <i>The Wrangling Lovers; or Like, Master, Like Man</i> featured Mr. Griffiths as Don Carlos; Mr. Loveday as Sancho his Man; Mr. Laney as Lopez; Miss Thompson as Donna Leonora, and Mrs. Griffiths as Jacintha.\n\nThe 'new favourite pantomime' <i>Puck &amp; the Pudding, or Harlequin Quicksilver</i> ended the evening with Tom Ellar as Robin, afterwards Harlequin; Mr. Griffiths as Squire Brushwood, afterwards Clown; Mr. Abbott as Rentroll, afterwards Pantaloon; Mrs Loveday as Dorcas, afterwards Columbine; Miss Thompson as Puck the Fairy, and Mrs. Griffiths as the Housmaid.
