The Poster announced the appearance by Theatre Chorégraphique Nijinska at the Pavilion Penzance 14-16 September 1925 details the theatre’s Lessee, George Harrison and the theatre’s phone number Penzance 39 as well as the fact that the company’s tour was promoted by Donald Arthur’s Star Attractions. It claims Nijinska’s Russian Ballet includes principals of Diaghilev’s Company and names all ten dancers. \n\nIt declares that performaners will include <i>Sports &amp; Touring Ballet Revue, A Night on a Bare Mountain, Le Guignol, Humoresque, Holy Etudes </i>and a <i>Divertissement</i>. The Entertainer, Arthur Russell, who appeared with the company to provide entertainment between the ballets is also identified. The programme has not been verified but these appear to be the works which were presented at the last venues on the tour.\n\r\nUnusually it notes in small that the ‘Choreographic Compositions and Librettos’ are by Nijinska, Premier Danseuse of the Imperial Opera House, St. Peterburg. Costumes are designed by Alexander [sic] Exter, Chief Scenic Artist of the Moscow Theatre and executed by Maison Pascaud, Paris.\n\r\nPrices are clearly noted with the first two rows at 4 shillings 9 pence with other reserved seats at 3/6, 2/4 (bookable in advance and unreserved seating at 1/10 and1/2. It is noted that ‘the Pavilion Orchestra will render a Programme of \nHigh Class Music during Intervals. The Orchestra also plays Daily from 4 to 6 during Teas in the Café.
