The ornament is decorated with die-stamped twisted wire and an edging of triangular granulations. The centre has  a delicate openwork branching motif of applied twisted wire with faceted granules at the tips. The design is further picked out with further faceted granules, which form a central band in the upper part where they are mounted on square bases alternating with similarly-sized concave elements. Traditionally it might be worn with a large-diameter nath in the left nostril.
