However, much of their work is also based on traditional Japanese textile techniques and aesthetics, and it is this fusion of the traditional with the contemporary that makes NUNO fabrics so innovative.\r\n\r\nThis sample swatch of copper wire is woven with black wool threads. The copper wire has been coated in polyurethane to prevent discolouration or 'greening' of the copper.
