Weldon's specialised in printing patterns for the latest fashion and home decoration designs. They published a series of fourteen-page monthly newsletters, such as <i>Weldon's Ladies Journal </i>and <i>Weldon's Dressmaker</i>, which were available by subscription and featured patterns and instructions for home projects. Weldon's continued to manufacture paper transfers until the mid-twentieth century.\r\n","physicalDescription":"Embroidery transfer and original packaging. The transfer pattern is printed in yellow ink and depicts an oval border decorated with clematis flowers. The packaging is made of green paper with information and instructions printed on the obverse and reverse in green ink. A small image of the embroidery transfer is printed on the obverse above which is a stamp in purple ink reading 'YELLOW.'
