In 1945 he was publishing in Paris. His support of such artists as Bonnard, Braque, Miro, Giacometti and Picasso, has made him one of the most important and influential gallerists and publishers of the 20th century.\r\n\r\nMourlot Freres were one of the most influential forces in the development of lithographic printing among artists in France in the 20th century. The family company dated back to the 19th century but became a greater focus for artists' printmaking under master lithographer Fernand Mourlot (1895-1988).
