Numbered 7 and 8 respectively, number 7 depicts a man peeping into a high bathroom window where a naked woman coquettishly washes, aware of the man's prescence. She is accompanied by a maid who exclaims 'Good look! My Lady, the Capt will see all for nothing'. Lettered with title, captions, and the original publisher's name, date, and address.\r\n\r\nThe second print on the same page is entitled 'The Balance of Power or The Posterity of the Immortal Chatham turned Posture Master' and depicts Catherine II (1729-1796), Empress of Russia; the Prime Minister William Pitt (later to become Lord Chatham); and Sultan Selim III of the Ottoman Empire. Lord Chatham tight-rope walks between the steadfast Empress and the bribe-offering Sultan, holding a pole to balance with, which pokes up the dress of the Empress on the right. Each figure has a speech bubble stating their political intentions. Beneath the three is a small figure representing Richard Brinsley Sheridan, the dramatist and parliamentary orator. Lettered with captions, title, and original publisher's name and address.","artistMakerPerson":[{"name":{"text":"James Gillray","id":"A13435"},"association":{"text":"artist","id":"AAT25103"},"note":""},{"name":{"text":"Humphrey, Hannah","id":"A39511"},"association":{"text":"publisher","id":"AAT25574"},"note":"original publisher"},{"name":{"text":"Bohn, Henry George","id":"C6411"},"association":{"text":"publisher","id":"AAT25574"},"note":""}],"artistMakerOrganisations":[],"artistMakerPeople":[],"materials":[{"text":"wove paper","id":"AAT14187"}],"techniques":[{"text":"printing","id":"AAT53319"}],"materialsAndTechniques":"Print on wove paper","categories":[{"text":"Prints","id":"THES48903"},{"text":"Satire","id":"THES250449"},{"text":"Caricatures & Cartoons","id":"THES48983"}],"styles":[],"collectionCode":{"text":"PDP","id":"THES48595"},"images":["2014HH1414"],"imageResolution":"high","galleryLocations":[{"current":{"text":"CAT","id":"THES49167"},"free":"","case":"13","shelf":"4","box":""}],"partTypes":[[{"text":"print","id":"AAT41273"}],[{"text":"album","id":"AAT26690"}]],"contentWarnings":[{"apprise":"","note":""}],"placesOfOrigin":[{"place":{"text":"Britain","id":"x32019"},"association":{"text":"printed","id":"x46159"},"note":""}],"productionDates":[{"date":{"text":"1782-91","earliest":"1782-01-01","latest":"1791-12-31"},"association":{"text":"first published","id":"x46563"},"note":""},{"date":{"text":"ca. 1850","earliest":"1845-01-01","latest":"1854-12-31"},"association":{"text":"printed","id":"AAT53319"},"note":""}],"associatedObjects":[],"creditLine":"Gift from the Ministry of Justice","dimensions":[{"dimension":"Height","value":"63.5","unit":"cm","qualifier":"","date":{"text":"","earliest":null,"latest":null},"part":"","note":""},{"dimension":"Width","value":"48.3","unit":"cm","qualifier":"","date":{"text":"","earliest":null,"latest":null},"part":"Sheet","note":""}],"dimensionsNote":"","marksAndInscriptions":[{"content":"Publ.
